How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Fixed-Term / Temporary Assignment (3–12 Months)

Are you an experienced applications support professional with a strong background in housing systems and technology operations? We're looking for an Interim Housing Applications & Systems Support Analyst to join our Digital & Technology team and play a key role in supporting and enhancing our Housing Applications estate.

This is an exciting opportunity to make an immediate impact by ensuring the stability, performance and continuous improvement of critical housing applications, including the NEC Integrated Housing Management System. You'll work closely with Housing Services, Digital & Technology colleagues and third-party suppliers to deliver high-quality application support and help drive service improvements.

    About the Role

As the lead support analyst for Housing Applications, you will be responsible for maintaining the day-to-day operation of key systems, managing incidents and system changes, supporting upgrades, and ensuring services remain secure, resilient and fit for purpose.

You'll also work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, support transformation initiatives, and ensure applications continue to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.

    About You

We're looking for someone who can quickly establish credibility, work independently and bring both technical expertise and excellent stakeholder management skills.

    You'll ideally have:

    * A strong background in ICT, Digital Services or Technology Operations.

    * Experience supporting NEC Housing applications, ideally the NEC Integrated Housing Management System.

    * A good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM), including Incident, Problem, Change and Release Management.

    * Experience managing suppliers and third-party service providers.

    * Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem solving.

    * Experience supporting business change, system upgrades and service improvements.

    * Knowledge of data governance, reporting and information management.

    * An understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity principles.

    * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Desirable Experience

Experience in one or more of the following would be advantageous:

    * Local Government, Housing, Public Sector or Social Housing.

    * Housing Management processes and statutory requirements.

    * ITIL certification.

    * Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or MSP.

    * Cloud-based applications and SaaS environments.

    * Membership of a professional body such as BCS.

    Qualifications

    * ITIL Foundation (or higher).

    * Project or Programme Management qualification.

    * Relevant technical or application certifications.

    What You'll Deliver

During your assignment, you'll play a vital role in:

    * Maintaining stable, secure and reliable Housing Application services.

    * Supporting the successful delivery of planned system upgrades and enhancements.

    * Improving service performance and user satisfaction.

    * Strengthening governance, documentation and support processes.

    * Supporting ongoing transformation and continuous improvement across Housing Services.

If you're an experienced applications support professional with a passion for delivering high-quality technology services and driving continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you
