Salary is £39,285 per annum – 39 hour week – equates to £19.37 per hour
Working hours Monday to Friday 7am-3pm (30 minutes for lunch)
34 days holiday including statutory

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking to recruit a Time Served Plater/Fabricator for our client based is in the Teesside area.

THE ROLE
Interpret and work from engineering drawings, technical specifications, and fabrication blueprints.
Measure, mark out, cut, shape, and assemble steel components to precise tolerances.
Working to undertake plant repairs
Working in conjunction with a qualified welder
Operate fabrication machinery, including guillotines, rollers, band saws, drills, grinders, etc.
Repair, modify, and refurbish heavy industrial plant, machinery, and structural steel components.
Fabricate project builds and installations
Fabricate walkways and access systems
Meet production schedules while maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
Use overhead cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment THE PERSON
Time Served Plater or Time Served Fabricator
Ability to read engineering drawings
Ability to work within a heavy engineering setting
Able to deliver plate profiling, cutting, and forming
Ability to use overhead cranes
Ability to undertake heavy and light fabrications
Able to work with various metals TO APPLY
