This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or individuals with transferable skills from youth work, care, coaching, or support work backgrounds.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom. Responsibilities may include:
Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons
Encouraging positive behaviour and student engagement
Supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staff
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine passion for education and supporting student development
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
