How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Site Document Controller
    Location: Necton, Norfolk
Contract length: 12 months rolling contract

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Site Document Controller to join a World leader offering Products, Solutions and Services across the entire Energy value chain on behalf of a well established manufacturing organisation to play a key role in supporting Manufacturing Operations. You will shape a competitive, sustainable supply chain, partnering globally to drive productivity, quality, and digitalization.

The Document Controller serves as the administrative gatekeeper for project information, responsible for managing contract deliverables through digital document management systems across the entire project lifecycle. Reporting to the Document Control Manager, the role focuses on assigning document numbers, running quality assurance checks, and coordinating review workflows between internal teams, suppliers, and clients. This UK-based position requires a minimum of 2 years of project document control experience, high proficiency in systems like Aconex or SharePoint, and a valid driving license to facilitate necessary site travel.

Some of the duties will include but are not limited to:

    *

Oversee and track contract deliverables throughout the entire project lifecycle using digital document management tools.

    *

Allocate official document numbers and create system placeholders to keep files organized and traceable.

    *

Execute QA checks on all project deliverables to ensure they meet required standards before progression.

    *

Manage review workflows within strict project timescales, distributing comments between clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

    *

Establish and configure supplier packages within the system.

    *

Manage the formal submission of "As-Built" documents and handle hard copy submissions directly to the project site.

    *

Interact regularly with the wider project team and support the broader Document Control team to drive continuous improvements.

    Essential Requirements:

    *

You must have at least 2+ years of direct document control experience working on projects.

    *

You must have 2+ years of experience working specifically with digital document management systems (such as Microsoft Office, ACC, Aconex, EDMS, or SharePoint).

    *

You need to be naturally quality-aware, ensuring all files and formatting meet project standards.

    *

You must be fully eligible to work in the UK.

    *

You must be based in the specific project location.

    *

A valid driving license is required, as traveling to the site is difficult using public transport.

    *

You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Desirable Requirements:

    *

Prior formal training in Document or Configuration Control.

    *

A good standard of overall education.

    *

An Engineering or Project Management Degree, or an equivalent professional qualification
