Smile Education is recruiting for a talented and passionate Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming primary school in Hull, teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage, with a particular focus on Reception. Working closely with the EYFS team and school leadership, you will deliver high-quality teaching in a nurturing, engaging and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.

The Role
As an Early Years / Reception Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver creative, engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework.
Foster a positive, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued and supported.
Support children's academic, social, emotional and personal development.
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment to inform future planning.
Create exciting learning opportunities through play-based and child-centred approaches.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with the EYFS team and senior leaders to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support its values and ethos.About You
The successful candidate will have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Essential.
Proven experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage, particularly Reception.
A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
High expectations for pupil achievement and wellbeing.
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, enthusiastic and creative approach to teaching.
A commitment to providing outstanding learning experiences for every child.Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have recent experience teaching in an Early Years or Reception classroom.
Be able to provide two years of professional references, including comments on your teaching practice.
