How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Nursery Room Leader
    Location: Popular E14
    Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
    Hours: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday
    Contract: Full-time Permanent
    Plus Staff Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a experience Room Leader for their established private nursery located in Popular E14.
    Responsibilities for Nursery Room Leader
    · To work effectively in partnership with other team members, parents and outside professionals
    · Part taking in the nursery’s daily routine and ensuring the highest level of childcare is being delivered
    · To organise the daily running of the room, including staff breaks, outings, reviewing observations, completing the rota etc
    ·To supporting and motivating your team with team effectiveness strategies
    · Ensuring that the children in the nursery are safe at all times and being vigilant for signs of abuse or neglect.
    · Completing regular training to progress personal and professional development.
    Requirements for Nursery Room Leader
    · Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse and/or as a Room Leader.
    · Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years Qualification
    · A positive, welcoming attitude and good communication skills
    · Safeguarding knowledge
    · Commitment to delivering a high level of childcare and customer service
    · Excellent personal presentation standards
    · The ability to work effectively and positively as part of a team
    · Flexibility to work hours as determined by the business, this is a full-time position working 40 hours per week across 5 days.
    · Effective communication skills and ability to lead a team.
    · Reliability and ability to work under pressure
