Site Engineer

Carmichael UK is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major section of the HS2 programme in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading Tier 1 contractor on one of the largest and most complex civil engineering projects currently underway in the UK.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major earthworks and drainage packages, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out and surveying works

Managing earthworks and drainage activities on site

Producing and reviewing RAMS and ITPs

Quality assurance and recording works completed

Coordinating subcontractors and site teams

Ensuring compliance with project specifications and health & safety requirements

Maintaining accurate site records and as-built information

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major civil engineering projects

Strong background in earthworks and drainage

Competent with Leica and/or Trimble equipment

Experience producing QA documentation and site records

CSCS Card essential

Full right to work in the UK
