How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

We are interested to hear from candidates with experience or qualifications relating to Health and Safety, with the possibility for this to become a full QHSE role.

Our company has been a major supplier of forecourt refuelling, data centre, and aircraft ground servicing equipment for over 100 years. We supply to some of the biggest names in industry, including most major airlines and F1 motorsport teams.

We pride ourselves on exceeding our customer’s expectations; delivering high quality and precision engineered products.

    Overall objectives of the role:

    1. Full responsibility for all aspects of the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and its component quality procedures.

    2. To ensure the Company’s ability to manufacture products which meet the laid down specifications and high quality requirements, and which are in compliance with all legal and customer requirements.

    Key tasks and responsibilities:

    1. To maintain and promote the Company’s QMS by ensuring that all component quality procedures are regularly reviewed and kept up-to-date; and that the quality procedures are complied with in full throughout all of the Company’s manufacturing and support operations.

    2. To oversee all production and supporting procedures and to identify any deviations from quality procedures. To oversee the process for frequent quality assurance checks, including tests upon incoming raw materials and components, together with work-in-progress and finished goods prior to dispatch. If a non-conformance report is raised, to work with colleagues on the Root Cause analysis, and to ensure the non-conformance process is completed with all corrective actions implemented.

    3. To plan, schedule and host all external auditor visits, aiming to achieve the successful retention of the accreditations with a minimum of non-conformance reports. This includes BSI ISO 9001 and ATEX.

    4. To Oversee the regular inspections, of all gauges and other measurement devices which are specified within quality procedures. To ensure that all of these are calibrated correctly and remain within their calibration date range, simultaneously advising senior management of any related issues or instances of non-compliance.

    5. To establish quality requirements for external suppliers via the Approved Suppliers List and to engage with customers to understand their expectations and obtain feedback via a customer satisfaction questionnaire.

    6. To organise frequent internal quality audits of each of the Company’s departments and its activities at the scheduled intervals, throughout checking compliance with the requirements of the QMS and all related laid down procedures, standards and specifications.

    7. To ensure that drawing records and change control procedures are adopted consistently throughout the Company for all products, components and any customer specified variations by assisting with training of colleagues.

    8. Throughout, to uphold the standards and objectives of the Company’s adopted policies and procedures relating to:
