How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Customer Service Administrator
    Location: Birmingham, B37
    Pay rate: £15.38 per hour (salary equiv £30,000)
    Hours: Monday to Friday, ​9.00am - 5.00pm
    Working pattern: Fully office based

    We are recruiting an experienced Administrator to join a global company ​for an ongoing temporary basis for 3-6 months, based at their Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with outstanding attention to detail, strong IT skills, and excellent communication abilities who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

    You'll play a key role in supporting the Service Coordinators during a busy period by managing a backlog of customer service tickets and ensuring work is allocated efficiently.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide administrative support to the Service Coordinators.
    Manage and triage customer service tickets, assigning them to the correct department.
    Respond to straightforward customer enquiries via email and internal systems.
    Accurately enter and update data on the company's in-house system.
    Close completed cases and maintain accurate records.
    Ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

    Previous administration experience in a busy office environment.
    Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
    Strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems quickly.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    The ability to prioritise a varied workload and work independently.
    A proactive approach with excellent organisational skills.
