Our client, a thriving manufacturing business with a longstanding history in Sheffield are looking for People Assistant to join their HR team!

Key Responsibilities:
As a People Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR, People and Culture department. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Providing administrative support, maintaining employee records, and handling correspondence.
Assisting with the recruitment process: posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
Supporting onboarding for new employees, including reference checks and probationary reviews.
Ensuring compliance with GDPR and managing sensitive information discreetly.
Coordinating training sessions, managing registrations, and updating the skills matrix.
Assisting in various initiatives to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture.
Providing reception cover
Updating policies to ensure compliance with UK employment law.What We're Looking For:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
HR administration experience and knowledge of recruitment and employee relations.
Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
A basic understanding of UK employment law and HR practises.
Exceptional organisational skills and a structured working style.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with a 'can-do' attitude.Personal Attributes:
