Are you an experienced and passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity within a supportive and welcoming primary school?
Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in North Leicester seeking a dedicated KS1 Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026.
The Role
This is a 2.5-day per week position, working:
Monday - Full Day
Tuesday - Full Day
Wednesday - Morning Only
The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities, including:
Delivering engaging and creative KS1 lessons
Planning, preparation and assessment
Monitoring pupil progress and attainment
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff
Please note: The school is seeking an experienced practitioner and is therefore unable to consider ECT applications for this role.

The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills
Has a strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Is enthusiastic, creative and committed to achieving the best outcomes for pupils
Can quickly build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
