How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Interim IT Separation Lead Programme Manager

We are seeking an experienced Interim IT Separation Lead Programme Manager to lead the end-to-end technology separation of a business unit as part of a strategic business separation programme.

This is a high-impact role responsible for delivering the successful separation of approximately 200 users across 41 identified IT systems, services, and ensuring business continuity while minimising operational and technical risk.

Reporting to the MD, you will take ownership of the planning, governance, and execution of the IT separation programme. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, third-party suppliers, and senior leadership to deliver a seamless transition within agreed timelines and budget.

    Key responsibilities include:

Leading the end-to-end IT separation programme from planning through to execution.

Developing and managing detailed separation plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and governance.

Coordinating the separation of infrastructure, applications, data, user environments, and IT services.

Ensuring business continuity throughout the transition with minimal disruption to users.

Managing internal teams, external partners, and third-party vendors to deliver agreed outcomes.

Identifying and mitigating technical, operational, and security risks.

Providing regular programme updates and reporting to senior stakeholders.

Overseeing cutover planning, testing, and post-separation stabilisation.

You will be an experienced IT Programme Manager with a demonstrable track record of successfully delivering IT separations, carve-outs, acquisitions, or complex business transformation programmes, ideally within mid-sized UK organisations.

    You will bring:

Proven experience leading IT separation or acquisition programmes from initiation to completion.

Strong programme and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, and business-critical services.

Experience managing multiple workstreams and third-party suppliers.

Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on programme delivery.

Strong communication and leadership skills with the confidence to engage at executive level.

    Technical Knowledge

A strong understanding of the following technologies is essential:

    Microsoft 365

    Windows environments

    Active Directory

    Cloud technologies

    Cybersecurity principles and controls

Experience of data migration, identity separation, infrastructure transition, and user migration would be highly advantageous
