Vision for Education is proud to offer the National Teaching Assistant Programme (NTAP), designed to support individuals looking to start a career in education. This programme provides high-quality training and a clear pathway into working as a Teaching Assistant in primary schools across Hull.
Whether you are looking for a career change, returning to work, or taking your first step into education, NTAP equips you with the essential skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a classroom environment.
What the Programme Includes:
Comprehensive online and practical training covering key aspects of the Teaching Assistant role
Modules focused on safeguarding, behaviour management, and supporting learning
Ongoing support from experienced education consultants
Opportunities to gain paid work in local primary schools following successful completion
Role Responsibilities (once placed in schools):
Support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assist children with additional needs, including SEN
Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
Support pupils’ social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
A passion for working with children and supporting their development
A willingness to learn and complete the training programme
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and adaptable approach
Relevant experience is beneficial but not required
