Senior Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a well-established and highly respected accountancy practice, easily commutable from Norwich, King's Lynn, Wisbech and Downham Market.

With a varied client portfolio, modern systems and excellent career prospects, this is an opportunity for a  Senior Accountant looking to develop their career within a successful accountancy practice. There is potential for the successful client to progress into a Supervisor role, with headroom to develop into a Manager, in the longer term future. Ultimately, the purpose of this role is to support the Partners, with plenty of client contact.

The RoleAs a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities may include:

Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a wide variety of clients.
Completing VAT returns accurately and on time.
Bookkeeping and assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
Preparing personal and corporation tax returns.
Liaising directly with clients to obtain accounting records and respond to day-to-day queries.
Supporting senior members of the team with a range of accounting and advisory work.
Building strong client relationships and delivering an excellent level of service.What's on Offer
