How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Parts Advisor
    £31,200 Basic Salary | £35,000+ OTE
    North West London
    Permanent | Full Time
    Monday to Friday (8:00am – 6:00pm) | 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30am – 5:00pm)
    Our client, a successful and well-established main dealership based in North West London, is looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor to join their busy and professional Parts Department.
    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive Parts Advisor looking to join a supportive team with excellent earning potential, ongoing training and genuine long-term career prospects.
    Duties & Responsibilities
    * Accurately identify and supply parts for both workshop technicians and retail customers.
    * Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
    * Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
    * Receive, check and allocate incoming parts and accessories.
    * Maintain accurate stock levels and assist with regular stock checks.
    * Process orders efficiently while ensuring parts are supplied promptly.
    * Promote relevant parts, accessories and seasonal offers where appropriate.
    * Work closely with the workshop and service departments to ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently.
    * Maintain excellent housekeeping and organisation within the Parts Department.
    Your Background & Skills
    * Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade is essential.
    * Strong knowledge of automotive parts and stock control procedures.
    * Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    * Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
    * Able to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
    * A positive, proactive and team-focused approach.

    * £31,200 Basic Salary
    * £35,000+ OTE
    * Monthly performance bonus starting at £250 per month when departmental targets reach 80%, with increased bonus opportunities based on overall department performance.
