The Role… SEN Cover Supervisor
As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you'll work within a variety of specialist schools across Huddersfield, ensuring pupils continue learning in the absence of their class teacher. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
As an SEN Cover Supervisor, you'll deliver pre-planned lessons, supervise classroom activities, and provide additional support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you'll encourage positive behaviour, build confidence, and help pupils engage with their learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Whether you're covering lessons in primary or secondary specialist settings, your role as an SEN Cover Supervisor will be key to maintaining consistency, promoting wellbeing, and helping pupils achieve their potential across Huddersfield.
