About the Role
This role is a sickness cover opportunity within a busy Assessment Team. You will manage a team of 6 Social Workers and an Advanced Practitioner, ensuring high-quality practice, effective risk management, and timely delivery of statutory services.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing leadership, supervision, and case direction to Social Workers.

Managing allocations and overseeing Child and Family Assessments, Section 47 enquiries, and statutory visits.
*
Chairing strategy meetings and ensuring risks to children are assessed and managed effectively.
*
Quality assuring court reports, legal documents, and case recordings.
*
Attending court and chairing PLO meetings when required.
*
Supporting performance, practice improvement, and achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
