How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanically minded individual who is looking to develop their technical skills, take ownership of projects, and build a rewarding career within a specialist engineering environment.

If you enjoy hands-on work, leading installations, travelling to a variety of sites, and working on projects across the UK and internationally, this could be the perfect next step.

    Why Join?

    * Salary up to £36,000, dependent on experience.

    * Excellent opportunities for training and professional development.

    * Gain internationally recognised qualifications, including IPAF, PASMA and CSCS (fully funded where required).

    * Opportunity to travel throughout the UK, Ireland, and Europe

    * Be part of a growing company where your ideas and technical expertise are valued.

    * Work on varied agricultural and industrial projects, with no two days the same.

    The Role

As an Installation Technician, you'll take the lead on-site, overseeing the installation of specialist ventilation systems across agricultural and industrial environments. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards while supporting colleagues and customers throughout the installation process.

You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to product development by providing valuable feedback and assisting with research and testing of new products.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Lead the installation of specialist ventilation equipment on customer sites.

    * Supervise installation teams and coordinate customer on-site labour where required.

    * Ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

    * Deliver training and technical support to the company's dealer and distributor network.

    * Assist with research and development projects, product testing and continuous improvement initiatives.

    * Maintain company vehicles in a clean, organised and roadworthy condition.

    * Complete all required documentation, including site reports, timesheets, completion certificates and site diaries.

    * Promote and uphold all company and customer health & safety procedures.

    About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys practical engineering, problem-solving and taking responsibility on-site.

    You'll ideally have:

    * A time-served Mechanical Technician background or strong mechanical engineering experience.

    * Basic Electrical/Electronic knowledge.

    * Confidence working independently and leading installations on-site.

    * The ability to work at height using powered access equipment and static towers.

    * IPAF, PASMA and CSCS cards would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.

    * A full UK Driving Licence.

    * A valid passport and willingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally.

    * Flexibility to stay away from home for extended periods when required.

    Build Your Career

This role offers far more than just installation work. You'll gain exposure to international projects, develop specialist engineering expertise, receive ongoing training and qualifications, and become an integral part of a company committed to innovation and quality. If you're looking for a role where you can grow professionally while working on exciting projects around the world, we'd love to hear from you.
