How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SCM Technical Writer – Contingent Labor 

    Summary of the Position:
    Technical writer to develop high-quality documentation for SCM processes, including but not limited to warehouse operations, inventory, material planning, purchase order monitoring and logistics. The role will work closely with process owners (SCM Director, Warehouse Ops Manager, Purchasing Manager), SCM Advisors and key stakeholders to develop/update operational processes into clear and standardized company documents: policy, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

    Key responsibilities:
    Review, develop, update SCM processes documentation:
    Policies and standards
    Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
    Process maps, workflows and templates
    Work instructions (guidelines, desk references, RACIs and checklists)
    Training material
    Conduct interviews with process owners, advisors and stakeholders to gather and clarify process information and validate documentation
    Document current-state (“As-Is”) and future state (“To-Be”) for selected business processes
    Create process flow and diagrams as needed
    Ensure documentation aligns with company governance and quality standards, use standard templates, SCM defined terms and writing standards in connection/align with existing policies, standards and procedures
    Maintain version control for documents being developed/updated (when managed outside of document control tool)
    Identify documentation gaps and recommend improvements
    Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, business process documentation, supply chain management, or related field
    5+ years’ experience in technical writing for business processes
    Experience supporting supply chain management organizations
    Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g.: lean six sigma) - preferred
    Required Skills:
    Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
    Strong interviewing and facilitation skills
    Mastery in Word
    Experience using documentation and diagramming tools such as:
    Visio
    SharePoint
    PowerPoint
    Documentum or other Document Management Systems
    High attention to detail and quality
    Strong organizational and progress reporting skills
