How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Primary Teacher (SEND School) | QTS Required

    Location: Southam, Warwickshire (Easy commute from Leamington Spa, Rugby, Coventry, Banbury, Warwick and Daventry)

    Salary: £32,916 - £51,047 per annum (M1-UPS3, dependent on experience)

    Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

    Start Date: September 2026 (or sooner by agreement)

    About the Role

    You will teach a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of additional learning needs, delivering engaging and personalised lessons that enable every child to achieve their potential.

    Working alongside experienced Teaching Assistants and a multidisciplinary team, you will support pupils' academic, social and emotional development within a nurturing and structured environment.

    This is a highly rewarding role where you'll have the time to focus on teaching, build positive relationships and celebrate every achievement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Plan and deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons.

    Adapt teaching to meet individual EHCP outcomes.

    Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

    Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

    Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents and external professionals.

    Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and assessments.

    Encourage confidence, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

    Who We're Looking For

    We welcome applications from:

    Qualified Primary Teachers (QTS).

    Experienced SEND Teachers.

    Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

    Mainstream primary teachers looking to transition into specialist education.

    Teachers with experience across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

    Previous experience within a specialist SEND school is desirable but not essential. If you're an excellent teacher with a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you.

    Essential Requirements

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

    Experience teaching within a UK primary school.

    Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

    A caring, patient and adaptable approach.

    A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

    Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
