How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    We're supporting a growing business with the appointment of a Customer Excellence Assistant to join a busy customer support team.


    This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every enquiry is handled professionally, efficiently and with a genuine focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience.

    The Role

    • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat.
    • Process customer orders and amendments accurately.
    • Manage customer cases through to resolution.
    • Coordinate deliveries and keep customers updated.
    • Liaise with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.
    • Handle customer complaints professionally and positively.
    • Monitor ongoing orders and proactively communicate any updates.
    • Support warranty, aftercare and service enquiries.
    • Maintain accurate records across CRM and internal systems.


    What We're Looking For

    • Previous experience in a customer service or customer support environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
    • A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
    • Excellent attention to detail.
    • Someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team.
    • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
