How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

MEP Coordinator – Major Infrastructure Project | Bridgwater | Immediate Start
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Coordinator to join the design delivery team on one of the UK's most significant and technically complex infrastructure projects based in Bridgwater.
This is a temporary assignment expected to run for an initial 5–6 months, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a major MEP package within a highly regulated environment, working alongside experienced project and design management professionals.

    The Role:
Working within the Design Delivery Team, you will support the coordination, management and delivery of MEP design activities, ensuring technical information is developed, reviewed and issued in line with programme requirements and quality standards.

    Key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the delivery of design task orders, seismic analysis activities and assisting the Lead MEP Project Manager.
Coordinating design information and resolving technical queries raised by the supply chain.
Monitoring design outputs against agreed programmes and project milestones.
Ensuring compliance with project procedures, reporting requirements and strict industry standards.
Facilitating effective communication between stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
    About You:
We are seeking a proactive and organised individual with a strong technical background and excellent coordination skills.

    You will ideally have:

Previous experience as an M&E Coordinator, MEP Coordinator, Design Coordinator or Technical Coordinator.
Experience working for a Main Contractor or M&E Contractor on large-scale construction projects.
A solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment.
Experience on major infrastructure, complex engineering or highly regulated projects would be advantageous.
    What's on Offer?

Opportunity to work on one of the UK's most prestigious infrastructure developments (off site)
Competitive day rate, dependent on experience.
Initial 5–6 month contract with the potential for extension.
    Immediate start available.
Convenient Bridgwater location with on-site parking.
Collaborative project environment with exposure to complex engineering and design challenges.
Interviews are taking place immediately, and an early start can be accommodated for the right candidate.
If you're an experienced MEP professional looking to contribute to a landmark project and thrive in a technically demanding environment, we'd be keen to hear from you
