How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    * Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure integrated, certifiable design solutions for aircraft modifications.

    * Support initial design concepts in line with aircraft manufacturer guidelines and engineering best practices.

    * Provide engineering liaison support on-site, resolving issues relating to fit, form, function, and manufacturing constraints.

    * Manage project schedules, resource planning, budgets, and reporting within a matrix organisation environment.

    * Ensure effective integration of structural, mechanical systems, avionics, electrical, and interior engineering inputs.

    * Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and progress reports.

    * Support project managers in preparing technical reports, presentations, and status updates for internal teams and clients.

    * Coordinate technical inputs from external suppliers and service providers.

    * Ensure all engineering outputs support certification and regulatory compliance requirements.

    * Identify and resolve technical and programme risks proactively to maintain delivery performance.

    Requirements

    Essential

    * Aviation engineering background.

    * Aircraft interior modification experience.

    * Experience coordinating engineering or aircraft modification projects.

    * Strong understanding of mechanical design and engineering documentation standards.

    * Ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and stakeholders.

    * Strong client-facing and communication skills.

    * Ability to work independently within a matrix organisation.

    * Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.

    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.

    * Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).

    Desirable

    * Rotorcraft modification experience.

    * Knowledge of electrical design principles.

    * Experience within an EASA Part 21 Design Organisation.

    * Experience with aircraft certification / STC programmes.

    * Exposure to engineering liaison roles within manufacturing environments.

    * Familiarity with aerospace quality and configuration management systems.
