About the Role
We are seeking a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Hammersmith & Fulham. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide effective learning support, helping pupils build confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their educational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Support classroom teachers with the delivery of engaging lessons and activities
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils to enhance learning
Assist children with additional educational needs and personalised learning plans
Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and social development
Support positive behaviour management and classroom routines
Prepare learning materials and assist with classroom organisation
Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
About You
The ideal candidate will be:
Passionate about making a positive difference in children's lives
Caring, patient, and supportive in their approach
Able to develop strong and trusting relationships with pupils
Enthusiastic about education and child development
A reliable team player with excellent communication skills
Previous experience working in a school, childcare, or support setting is desirable but not essential
