TEKNIKAL Specialist Recruitment are recruiting for a Workshop Plant Fitter on behalf of our well-established plant hire client based in Swindon, Wiltshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business that values its employees and offers genuine career progression.
✅ The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring plant machinery is fully prepared, serviced, and maintained to the highest standards by:
* Carrying out routine inspections, diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of plant machinery.
* Completing accurate maintenance and service records.
* Conducting PDI checks to ensure equipment is ready for hire.
* Working both independently and within a team environment.
* Meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
* Following all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
✅ What You'll Need
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
* Proven experience maintaining and repairing plant machinery.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
* Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage your workload effectively.
