How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Salary: €38,500 per annum
    Location: Dublin Airport
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

    Vehicle Technician – Commercial Vehicles About the Role
    We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Ground Support Equipment company based at Dublin Airport.
    We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with HGV or LCV experience to join a growing Service & Maintenance team.
    This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles alongside specialist airport ground support equipment. Full manufacturer and equipment training will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone looking to expand their skills within a stable and growing industry.
    Vehicle Technician – Commercial Vehicles -Key Responsibilities
    * Service, maintain and repair HGVs, LCVs and specialist airport ground support equipment.
    * Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
    * Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
    * Complete all work to the highest safety and quality standards.
    * Accurately complete service records and job documentation.
    * Work on a range of leading vehicle brands including Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, DAF, Ford and Citroën.
    Vehicle Technician – Commercial VehiclesCandidate Requirements
    * Qualified Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Mechanic.
    * Previous experience working on HGVs, LCVs or commercial vehicles.
    * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
    * Full driving licence (Category C is desirable but not essential).
    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    * Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety.
