Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and develop their understanding of computing, programming, and digital technologies across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Teach topics including programming, algorithms, computational thinking, cybersecurity, and computer systems.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Encourage curiosity, creativity, and a passion for technology.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Support the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge, including programming and computing fundamentals.
Excellent classroom management skills.
The ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
