Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated ICT Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wellingborough. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and develop their knowledge and understanding of Information and Communication Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will join a supportive department committed to delivering engaging lessons that equip students with essential digital skills and prepare them for further education and future careers.
The Role
As an ICT Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging ICT and Computing lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners.
Promote digital literacy, computational thinking, and safe use of technology.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Support the wider life of the school through pastoral responsibilities and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching ICT and/or Computing within a secondary school setting.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and digital education.
Excellent classroom management skills.
The ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
