How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Quality Engineer

    Hampshire/Dorset border

    Are you a Quality Engineer looking for your next challenge in a business that genuinely invests in its people?

    We're working with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer with an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. Thanks to continued growth and a strong forward order book, they're looking to add an ambitious Quality Engineer to their team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for someone with ISO9001 experience who is keen to develop their career within the aerospace sector. Previous AS9100 experience would be beneficial but isn't essential - you'll receive plenty of support and training to help you build your knowledge.

    The Role as Quality Engineer

    You'll play a key part in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, supporting internal processes, driving continuous improvement and working closely with production, engineering and customers to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved.

    We're looking for a Quality Engineer with:

    Experience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment
    Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems
    A methodical, organised approach with excellent attention to detail
    Experience with audits, quality documentation or continuous improvement
    A proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn and develop
