What will the Senior Financial Accountant role involve?

Leading the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate reporting in compliance with legislation and standards
Overseeing statutory submissions and regulatory returns, maintaining high standards of accuracy and meeting deadlines
Managing treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, bank relationships, and covenant compliance
Providing guidance on taxation matters, including VAT and Corporation Tax, working closely with HMRC and external advisors
Developing and maintaining robust financial controls and systems, exploring innovative solutions such as AI and digital tools to enhance processes
Suitable Candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant vacancy:

Possesses either extensive financial accounting experience within a complex environment or is a qualified individual looking to make their first move out of Public Practice
Demonstrates strong technical expertise and the ability to advise and guide senior management on financial matters
Exhibits excellent leadership skills, capable of managing and developing a team whilst fostering collaboration
Is highly organised, with a proactive attitude and meticulous attention to detail in a deadline-driven setting
