How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Our state-of-the-art training ground brings together leading coaches, analysts, sports scientists and performance specialists, creating a collaborative and innovative culture where your work can have a direct impact on First Team performance and success.

    Help Drive Performance Through Insight

    We are seeking a talented and motivated First Team Performance Analyst to join our Performance Analysis department.

    Reporting to the Lead Performance Analyst, you will play a vital role in delivering detailed performance analysis through the effective use of video, data and tactical insight. Working closely with First Team coaches, players and multidisciplinary support staff, you will provide the intelligence needed to enhance match preparation, inform tactical decision-making and support continuous performance improvement.

    The Role

    As a First Team Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for producing and communicating high-quality analytical insights that support coaching delivery, player development and team performance.

    You will combine video analysis, performance data and tactical expertise to deliver meaningful, actionable information across training sessions, matchdays, opposition analysis and performance reviews. The role will also involve supporting live analysis operations and contributing to the ongoing development of analytical systems, workflows and technologies across the First Team.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Deliver detailed performance analysis to support First Team coaches and players, providing timely, accurate and actionable insights.

    * Produce comprehensive opposition analysis, identifying tactical trends, strengths, weaknesses and key performance indicators through video and data analysis.

    * Support First Team training sessions and matchdays through the operation of live touchline video systems and analysis workflows.

    * Create high-quality analytical resources including video presentations, reports, dashboards and visualisations to support match preparation, player development and performance review.

    * Use specialist analysis software and telestration tools to communicate tactical concepts, coaching points and performance insights clearly and effectively.

    * Collaborate closely with the Data & Insights department to integrate performance data within analytical workflows and enhance coaching practice and decision-making.

    * Support the development and continuous improvement of analysis systems, technologies and operational workflows.

    * Maintain video, data and analytical resource libraries, ensuring all content is accurately organised, securely stored and readily accessible.

    * Remain at the forefront of developments in football performance analysis, emerging technology and industry best practice, identifying opportunities to enhance analytical delivery.

    About You

    You will be a highly organised and proactive performance analyst with experience working within a professional football environment. You will possess strong technical and tactical knowledge, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and impactful way.

    You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be passionate about using analysis to support decision-making and improve performance.

    Essential Requirements

    * Experience working within a professional football performance analysis environment, preferably at First Team level.

    * Proven experience using video capture, coding, editing, telestration and presentation software, including Hudl Sportscode, Hudl Studio and Keynote.

    * CAA-approved drone operator qualification, with experience safely capturing and producing high-quality aerial footage within a sporting environment.

    * Strong tactical understanding of football, with the ability to identify, interpret and communicate tactical and technical concepts, team principles and performance trends.

    * Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver under pressure.

    * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.

    * Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing work of the highest standard.

    * Bachelor's degree in Performance Analysis, Sport Science or a related discipline (or equivalent relevant experience).

    Desirable Requirements

    * Experience providing live match analysis support and operating live video workflows in a stadium environment.

    * Experience using performance data platforms and integrating video and data analysis to support coaching practice.

    * Postgraduate qualification (e.g. MSc) in Performance Analysis, Sport Science or a related discipline.

    * Full UK Driving Licence.
