How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Main Responsibilities

    * Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

    * Liaise with airport authorities, airlines, stakeholders, and contractors to coordinate works and minimise operational disruption.

    * Ensure compliance with aviation safety regulations, security protocols, and health & safety standards.

    * Oversee procurement, contract negotiation, and management of design consultants, contractors, and suppliers.

    * Prepare and deliver project progress reports, risk registers, and stakeholder presentations.

    * Coordinate with design, engineering, planning, and operations teams to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

    * Monitor and manage project risks, issues, and change controls.

    * Champion sustainability, digital construction tools (e.g. BIM), and innovation within project delivery.

    Skils & Qualifications

    * Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

    * 10+ years’ experience in construction/project management

    * Proven experience managing complex projects in live operational environments, preferably within aviation or transport infrastructure.

    * In-depth knowledge of health & safety, CDM regulations, and airport operational procedures.

    * Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.

    * Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage high-pressure situations.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    * Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, or other project management tools.

    Desirable:

    * Experience working with airport authorities or aviation regulatory bodies.
