How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Work closely with multiple departments to influence site-wide standards and improvements
Lead investigations and drive meaningful corrective actions that improve performance
Be trusted as the go-to technical expert for inspection processes across the site
Play a key role in supporting audits, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives
Join a business where your expertise can make a measurable difference every day
    Your responsibilities as X-Ray Lead

Manage the daily setup, verification, calibration and performance of inspection equipment
Monitor system performance throughout production, ensuring validation checks and product settings remain compliant
Escalate equipment issues promptly while supporting maintenance, servicing and validation activities
Analyse inspection data, maintain accurate records and use operational reporting to identify improvement opportunities
Lead investigations into detection issues, process deviations and equipment failures, implementing effective corrective actions
Support food safety, quality and audit requirements while ensuring rejected product is handled in line with site procedures
What we're looking for in an X-Ray Lead

Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance and manufacturing compliance
Experience operating, verifying or supporting inspection or detection equipment within a production environment
Ability to interpret operational data, maintain accurate records and use reporting systems effectively
Knowledge of investigation processes, root cause analysis and corrective action management
Experience working collaboratively with Engineering, Production and Quality teams to resolve technical issues
Working Hours – average 42 per week
    1 x AM - Monday to Friday 5:30am to 3:00pm
