How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Education Recruitment Branch Manager – Harrow on the Hill
    Location: Harrow on the Hill, London
    Salary: £40,000 - £85,000 (depending on experience) + Uncapped Commission
    On-Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £147,578 with a potential EMI Scheme for the right candidate

    We are looking for an ambitious Education Recruitment Branch Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our successful Harrow on the Hill branch.
    This is an outstanding opportunity to take ownership of an established branch with significant potential, supported by an experienced leadership team and an uncapped earning opportunity.
    The Role
    As Branch Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of the Harrow on the Hill branch. You will lead from the front, developing your team, growing existing accounts, winning new business, and ensuring the highest levels of service are delivered to both schools and candidates.
    You will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, compliance, and team performance while creating a positive, ambitious, and collaborative culture.
    Branch Manager Key Responsibilities
    * Lead and manage the daily operations of the branch.
    * Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop recruitment consultants.
    * Drive branch sales, profitability, and performance against agreed targets.
    * Develop new business opportunities with schools, academies, and multi-academy trusts.
    * Strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximise growth.
    * Oversee candidate attraction, recruitment, and placement activities.
    * Ensure safeguarding, compliance, and recruitment processes are maintained to the highest standards.
    * Monitor branch performance using KPIs and implement strategies to achieve continued growth.
    * Foster a high-performance culture where success is recognised and celebrated.
    * Lead by example through professional, ethical, and commercially focused recruitment.
    About You
    We are looking for a confident leader with a successful background in education recruitment who enjoys developing people and growing businesses.
    You'll ideally have:
    * Previous experience within education recruitment.
    * Management or leadership experience within a recruitment environment.
    * A proven record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    * Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
    * Excellent coaching, communication, and leadership abilities.
    * A commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
    * High levels of organisation, resilience, and motivation.
    * A genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
