We're looking for a high-energy, commercially minded leader who isn't afraid to roll their sleeves up, lead from the front and set the standard every day.
You'll take full ownership of a successful Portsmouth depot, managing a £7 million P&L and leading a team of 22 people. You'll have the autonomy to make decisions, improve performance and build a culture where accountability, teamwork and outstanding customer service are at the heart of everything you do.

The role will see you taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running and overall performance of the depot. You'll lead and develop your team, ensure customers receive an exceptional service, maximise fleet utilisation, control costs, improve profitability and create a safe, efficient and high-performing operation.
You'll also work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth, implement improvements and ensure the depot consistently delivers against its commercial and operational objectives.
We're looking for someone with proven experience managing a depot, branch or operational business within the powered access, plant hire, equipment rental, tool hire, material handling or wider capital equipment sectors.

You'll be the sort of leader who earns respect by being present, approachable and willing to get involved when the team needs you. You'll enjoy developing people, raising standards and creating an environment where everyone is accountable for delivering great results.
