How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Are you passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience and shaping a positive organisational culture?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading professional services organisation for an experienced Culture & Engagement Specialist to join their People team on an initial 6 to 12-month fixed term contract. There is the potential for the role to become permanent, subject to business needs.

Working closely with the Head of People & Culture, you will play a pivotal role in developing and embedding a values-led culture, enhancing employee engagement and bringing the organisation's people vision to life. You will also lead initiatives that strengthen the organisation's commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) and wellbeing.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR or Organisational Development professional who is passionate about influencing culture, driving engagement and creating an outstanding employee experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Act as the specialist for people strategy and employee engagement.

    * Design and deliver engagement initiatives that strengthen organisational culture.

    * Create strategies that support the organisation's commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and wellbeing.

    * Design and support the implementation of initiatives that bring organisational values to life.

    * Coach and support managers to become effective culture advocates within their teams.

    * Work closely with the People Business Partners to:

    * Use HR data and insight to inform strategic decision making through reports and recommendations.

    * Measure organisational culture through pulse surveys, employee feedback and key performance indicators to identify trends and potential risks.

    * Partner with the Communications team to develop internal communications that reinforce culture.

    About You

The successful candidate will have significant experience within a senior HR, Culture, Engagement, Organisational Development or People Experience role and a proven ability to deliver meaningful people initiatives.

    You will also have:

    * A successful track record of developing and delivering culture, employee engagement or organisational development initiatives.

    * Experience of developing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion and wellbeing strategies and translating these into practical, measurable outcomes.

    * Confidence in using people data and insight to influence strategic decision making.

    * A strong understanding of employee engagement, organisational development and culture change.

    * Excellent project management and organisational skills.

    * Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility at senior level.

    * A collaborative, people-centred approach.

    * Experience of presenting reports and recommendations to senior management.

    * A strong understanding of employment law and HR operations.

    The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a respected professional services organisation during an exciting period of development, where you will play a key role in shaping culture, enhancing engagement and supporting the delivery of the organisation's people strategy.

The role is offered on an initial 6 to 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent, subject to business requirements.

Salary: Up to £45,000 plus excellent benefits exposure to broader HR projects (this is a wonderful development opportunity), 25 days holiday, bonus, life assurance 3 x salary, health cash plan, cycle to work scheme, health screening at reduced rates, active social and charity committees, wellbeing support and people recognition schemes.
