How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
    Location: South Peterborough
    Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
    Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)

    We at Interaction Recruitment are partnering with a small, dynamic organisation in Peterborough seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader to lead and support their warehouse operations. This is a unique opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in a quality-driven environment and is keen to play a pivotal role in shaping both the team and daily processes.

    Key Requirements:

    Must hold a current ITTSAR or RTITB Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
    Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
    Proven ability to supervise warehouse teams and manage operational workflows.
    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory control, quality assurance, dispatch coordination, space utilisation, and on-floor productivity.
    Ensure high standards of customer service by meeting contractual delivery and service level targets.
    Use Microsoft Office and internal systems to manage inbound receipts, returns, and outbound dispatches accurately.
    Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and security protocols across the warehouse and stock holdings.
    Lead, mentor, and develop a small warehouse team – promoting motivation, performance, and continuous improvement.
    Be actively involved in hands-on tasks, including use of hand tools, technical equipment, and specialist machinery, as well as carrying out basic repairs and maintenance.
    Engage in heavy manual handling as part of daily duties.
    Work closely with the sales team, external customers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless delivery and service.
