Freight Force Recruitment are working in partnership with an independent and very well-established leading logistics providers, offering nationwide transport, pallet network distribution, container transport and warehousing services. This role combines regular night trunking with container movements, offering consistent work within a well-established operation.
Typical duties include:

Night trunking of palletised freight to the Midlands hub.
*
Collection and delivery of general haulage loads.
*
Container movements throughout the Yorkshire region during quieter operational periods.
*
Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
*
Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
*
Accurately completing all delivery paperwork and using company systems where required.
*
Complying with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport legislation.
*
Delivering excellent customer service when representing the business.
Requirements
*
Minimum 1 years HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
*
Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence (no major endorsements)
*
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
*
Digital Tachograph Card.
*
Experience with palletised freight, trunking or container work is advantageous.
*
Good geographical knowledge of the Midlands and Yorkshire.
*
Professional, reliable and safety-focused approach.

Strong communication and time management skills.
