How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Role
    As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will define, validate, and support manufacturing processes from engineering definition through to production, ensuring delivery against quality, cost, safety, and operational targets. You'll play a key role in supporting industrialisation, problem-solving, continuous improvement, and new manufacturing capability development.

    Working closely with production, quality, programmes, suppliers, and engineering teams, you'll help create robust, repeatable manufacturing processes that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Define and develop manufacturing processes and industrial solutions.
    - Create and validate standard operating procedures, work instructions, and inspection methods.
    - Develop and maintain routes, BOMs, tooling requirements, layouts, and production data.
    - Support industrial product validation and manufacturing readiness activities.
    - Provide technical support to internal and external suppliers.
    - Lead and deliver manufacturing engineering projects.
    - Support production teams to ensure product flow and operational performance
    - Participate in audits, QRQC meetings, readiness reviews, and governance activities

    What you'll bring:

    Essential
    - Manufacturing Engineering experience
    - Degree (BEng) in Engineering or equivalent
    - Industrialisation and manufacturing process development
    - DMAIC and structured problem solving
    - PFMEA and SPC knowledge
    - Project delivery experience (cost, quality, delivery)
    - ERP/MRP and PLM systems experience
    - Strong stakeholder management
    - Excellent communication skills
    - Continuous improvement mindset
    - Ability to work independently and drive results

    Desirable
    - Aerospace manufacturing experience
    - Technical Stamp (or ability to achieve within 6 months)
    - CATIA or similar CAD/CAM experience
    - Lean Manufacturing experience
    - Project management knowledge
    - Experience supporting suppliers
    - Audit and compliance exposure
    - QRQC and operational excellence experience
