How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The team explores hands-on approaches to sustainable land management, inspiring their projects and enhancing biodiversity and community well-being. With a strong emphasis on collaboration and creativity, the practice encourages every team member to contribute ideas, all while being dedicated to designing landscapes that enrich lives and promote a sustainable future.

In this position, you’ll get to roll up your sleeves and work through all stages of project development, from brainstorming creative ideas to bringing them to life on-site. Collaboration is key, so you'll be teaming up with clients, stakeholders, and fellow creatives to craft innovative and sustainable landscape solutions. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to mentor and support newer team members, helping to foster a fun, collaborative studio vibe. You'll also engage with the local community through events and initiatives, ensuring that the work you do benefits both people and the planet. Requirements

A degree/post graduate degree in Landscape Architecture and at least four years relevant experience. Strong design skills and a creative approach to problem-solving are essential, along with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in design software and a solid understanding of sustainable practices are also important. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the environment, be self-motivated, enjoy mentoring junior colleagues, and be able to showcase their work through a solid portfolio. If they’re excited about transforming spaces and making a difference, this role could be a perfect fit!

    Benefits Offered

The company offers a fantastic range of benefits to support its employees' well-being. Team members enjoy a minimum of 25 days of holiday, plus bank holidays, giving them plenty of time to unwind and recharge. With flexible start and finish times and hybrid working options, everyone can achieve a great work-life balance. Additional perks include a company pension, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, and support for professional fees. Plus, there are opportunities for continuous professional development and an annual study trip allowance. Overall, the practice fosters a friendly, creative environment where everyone can thrive and feel valued.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A DEGREE IN LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE AND FULL RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK.
