Location: Cambridge, CB4 0DN
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 04:00 - 14:30
Pay Rate: £16 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Driver Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy goods vehicles, primarily flatbed vehicles, with occasional Skip Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) work. Safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service are essential in this role.

Duties

Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles over 17.5 tonnes.
Mainly operate flatbed vehicles.
Carry out occasional Skip Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) work.
Complete daily vehicle checks.
Ensure loads are secured safely.
Follow all road safety and driver regulations.
Complete delivery paperwork when required.
Keep vehicles clean and report any faults.Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.
Happy to accept LTD drivers.
Qualified to drive vehicles over 7.5 tonnes.
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Good understanding of road safety and driver regulations.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
Previous flatbed or Skip RoRo experience is an advantage but not essential.You can look forward to the following benefits:
