We have three full-time opportunities available from September:
* 1 x Teaching Assistant – September until Christmas
* 2 x Teaching Assistants – September until October Half Term

The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support to pupils with a wide range of complex medical and additional learning needs. Every day is different, and you'll play a vital role in helping pupils access learning while promoting their independence, wellbeing and confidence.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
* Assisting with learning activities both inside and outside the classroom.
* Supporting pupils with complex medical, physical and learning needs.
* Working alongside teachers, therapists and healthcare professionals.
* Promoting communication, engagement and independence.
* Assisting with personal care where required (full training can be provided).
* Helping to maintain a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Caring, patient and enthusiastic.
* Comfortable supporting children and young people with complex medical needs.
* Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
* Flexible and proactive in their approach.
* Previous SEN, care, support work or Teaching Assistant experience is desirable but not essential.
* A background in healthcare, residential care, care homes or support work would also be welcomed.
