We're recruiting for an experienced CNC Estimator to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Woking.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong machining background who enjoys working closely with customers, reviewing technical drawings, and producing accurate quotations for complex CNC machined components.
The Role
* Review customer enquiries, drawings and specifications.
* Prepare accurate quotations for CNC machined components.
* Calculate machining times, material costs and tooling requirements.
* Liaise with customers to clarify technical requirements.
* Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quotes are commercially competitive and technically accurate.
* Support business development by providing prompt responses to customer enquiries.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a CNC Estimator, CNC Programmer, Manufacturing Estimator, or a Senior CNC Machinist looking to move into estimating.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Good understanding of CNC milling and/or turning processes.
* Knowledge of machining methods, tooling and manufacturing costs.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
