How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Maintenance Supervisor 
    City of London 
    £55,000 + HV Training 

    Brand new position for a Maintenance Supervisor based in the City of London! This is an opportunity to join a highly renowned building service provider well known for their staff retention, additional training and up skilling their engineers. You'll be given the chance to strengthen your leadership and client management skills.

    This is a static role, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm 

    As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading a team of M&E Engineers on site, allocating works, offering technical support, manage contractors, logbooks whilst also carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on M&E systems around site.

    Maintenance Supervisor Duties:

    Motors & Generators
    UPS Systems
    LV/HV Switching
    Emergency Lighting
    Fire Alarm Testing
    AHUs, FCUs & VAVs
    CRAC Units
    Pumps, Belts, Bearings & Seals
    Sprinkler Systems
    BMS Operation
    Carrying out plant and system isolations in line with safety procedures
    Ensuring all corrective and repair works are completed to required regulations and standards
    Promoting safe working practices and compliance across site
    Organising and managing subcontractors
    Completing RAMS, permits to work, and logbooks
    Raising and closing jobs via PDA systems
    Producing reports and attending client meetings
    Keeping the Account Manager updated on site activity and progress
    Liaising with client representatives regarding remedial and repair works
    Requirements:

    City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installations
    Electrically biased with strong building services maintenance experience
    Previous experience leading or supervising an engineering team
    Knowledge of commercial building maintenance systems
    Motivated, career-driven, and professional attitude
    Strong communication and organisational skills
    Salary and Package:

    £55,000 per annum 
    High voltage training + AP status provided
    Private health and dental care
    Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm 
    25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
    Internal progression
