The Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for our client based in Rothley for a Warehouse Operator with FLT Licence to join their busy logistics team. Working as part of an experienced warehouse team, you will be responsible for the safe storage of finished goods, preparing orders for dispatch, and ensuring products are handled in accordance with company procedures and health & safety standards.
The Role
As a Warehouse Operator with FLT Licence, you will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring finished goods are stored correctly and loading areas are prepared efficiently to meet production and customer demands.

Main Responsibilities
Move pallets safely around the warehouse and store them in the correct locations.
Prepare loading areas in line with loading schedules.
Load and unload vehicles as required.
Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely.
Complete all warehouse documentation accurately.
Carry out daily forklift and equipment safety checks.
Report any equipment faults, damaged stock or quality issues.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping to a high standard.
Support stock counts and inventory control activities.
Optimise warehouse storage space.
Work closely with warehouse and production teams.
Follow all site procedures, SOPs and health & safety regulations.
Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
Valid and in-date FLT Licence (Counterbalance, Reach or Clamp).
Previous experience operating FLTs within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of warehouse operations.
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures.
Ability to follow work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable with a positive and flexible attitude.
Knowledge of 5S or Lean principles is desirable.
Working Hours
Tuesday to Saturday
6:00am – 2:00pm

£13.00 per hour
