About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and practical Cabinet Maker / Assembly Technician to join our growing production team. This role is focused on the assembly and construction of high-quality cabinetry and furniture products using pre-cut boards and components.
The ideal candidate will have previous assembly, cabinet making, joinery, or woodworking experience and be confident using a wide range of hand and power tools. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to consistently produce work to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble cabinets, furniture, and bespoke wood products from pre-cut components.
Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Interpret assembly drawings and work instructions.
Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
Fit hardware, fixtures, and finishing components as required.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
Work collaboratively with the wider production team to meet deadlines and production targets.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Have previous experience in cabinet making, furniture assembly, joinery, or a similar manufacturing environment.
Be comfortable and competent using a range of power tools.
Have excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of their work.
Be physically fit and capable of lifting and handling wooden boards and assembled units.
Be reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills
Strong joinery or cabinet-making experience.
Experience working in a furniture manufacturing or bespoke joinery workshop.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
