A well-established manufacturing business based in the Nottingham area are looking for a CNC supervisor to oversee day to day operations in their laser cutting department.
The shifts for this role are 6am – 2pm Monday - Friday
Your day to day will include:
•Supervising day to day operations in the laser cutting area
•Leading a team of laser operators
•Allocating and monitoring workload across the laser department
•Setting and operating laser machines
•Carrying out inspections
•Working with other departments such as planning, quality, programming and operations to ensure a smooth workflow
•Train and develop members of the team.
•Carrying out meetings and reviews with members of the team
•Support with recruitment and inductions of new employees
•Driving continuous improvement to improve efficiency
We would like to hear from you if you have:
•Previous experience leading a laser cutting department or manufacturing team
•The ability to operate laser cutting machines
•Strong leadership and people management skills
