How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

They are currently seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join a high-performing team on a Data Centre project in Groningen. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive EHS professional to support site leadership in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on a high-profile project.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in large-scale or mission-critical construction environments and a strong, hands-on approach to EHS delivery.
Please note: Employment will be in accordance with local labour laws. A competitive package is on offer, including base salary, living allowance, accommodation, regular flights, and a performance-based bonus.
Key Responsibilities of the EHS Advisor
    *
Support the implementation and maintenance of all Environmental, Health & Safety systems on site.
    *
Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership and engagement.
    *
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
    *
Advise site management, subcontractors, and operatives on EHS best practices and legal requirements.
    *
Assist with incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
    *
Ensure compliance with Dutch and EU Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
    *
Review method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work documentation.
    *
Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and EHS training as required.
    *
Support regulatory inspections and external audits.
    EHS Advisor Requirements
    *
Degree or qualification in Health & Safety, Environmental, or a related discipline.
    *
Recognised EHS qualification (NEBOSH, HVK, or equivalent).
    *
3–7 years’ experience in an EHS role within construction or mission-critical environments.
    *
Strong working knowledge of Dutch Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
    *
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    *
    Proactive, site-based, and solutions-focused approach.
    *
Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are highly desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing sector with strong long-term career prospects.
