How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Brand Marketing Assistant

    The Opportunity

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Brand Marketing Assistant to join a busy and creative marketing team.

    This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about marketing, social media and popular culture, and is looking to build a career in brand marketing. You'll gain hands-on experience supporting campaigns, managing content, coordinating partnerships and helping to deliver engaging marketing activity across multiple channels.

    The Role

    Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll support the planning and delivery of brand campaigns, social media activity, content creation and partnership projects.

    You'll coordinate multiple projects at once, liaise with agencies and external partners, help organise events and ensure marketing activity is delivered on time and to a high standard.

    Key Responsibilities

    Social Media

    Support the planning and scheduling of social media content.
    Work with external agencies and internal teams to coordinate engaging, on-brand content.
    Assist with capturing content at events and promotional activities.
    Monitor social media performance and identify trends and opportunities.
    Provide insights and recommendations to help improve future content.

    Marketing Campaigns

    Support the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.
    Coordinate campaign timelines, creative assets and project documentation.
    Liaise with suppliers, agencies and content creators to ensure projects remain on schedule.
    Assist with campaign reporting and performance analysis.

    Partnerships & Events

    Support the planning and delivery of brand collaborations and promotional activities.
    Coordinate logistics for launches, events and marketing activations.
    Communicate with external partners and suppliers to ensure projects run smoothly.
    Research potential partnership opportunities that align with marketing objectives.

    Content & Asset Management

    Organise and maintain marketing assets and campaign materials.
    Ensure internal teams have access to the latest approved content.
    Support content creation and production where required.

    General Marketing Support

    Maintain project plans, trackers and marketing documentation.
    Provide day-to-day administrative support to the marketing team.
    Assist with a variety of marketing projects as required.

    About You

    We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and eager to develop a career in brand marketing.

    You'll ideally have:

    A genuine interest in marketing, social media and consumer trends.
    Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt your writing style for different audiences.
    Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    Excellent attention to detail.
    A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
    Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
    Analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign and social media performance.
    Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
