About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Solar PV Electrician / Team Leader to oversee the installation, maintenance, and delivery of renewable energy systems across a range of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating across new build housing, commercial retrofit, large-scale energy efficiency upgrades, and high-end refurbishment projects. You will play a key role in delivering sustainable energy solutions including Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and participate in renewable energy installations, with a strong focus on Solar PV systems
* Carry out installation and maintenance of electrical and renewable technologies
* Support preparation of RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
* Liaise with internal design teams regarding system specifications and project delivery
* Oversee site activities and ensure high standards of workmanship
* Maintain accurate daily records of progress, materials, and outstanding works
Essential Skills & Experience
* Strong electrical background with relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (where applicable)
* Proven experience in Solar PV or renewable energy installations
* Experience with site delivery including surveys, material take-offs, and procurement
* Strong communication and leadership skills
